"My car was towed to the collision center in 06/30/23 and finally returned to me on 07/20/23 only for my 2016 Hyundai Tucson to die on the highway about 10 minutes after leaving the establishment. I called them and because it was Friday they told me they did not want my vehicle to get towed back to the collision center because THEY did not want to wait for the tow truck because they were close to closing and they are not open in weekends; they sent one of their “service advisor” only for the guy to be from a completely different dealership! After about 15-20 minutes of piddling with my car he finally told me there was nothing he could do and that we would have to get it towed to Reed Hyundai, the dealership because they were open on Saturday’s and the collision center was not. I was adamant that I would not be the one to wait for the tow truck because I had suggested that about an hour prior to him showing up and I was heading out town for the weekend. I left him my key and I told him I would follow up on Monday. 9/20/23 Finally got my car back from Reed Hyundai and the back window that Reed Collision replaced no longer rolls up or down. I understand that with the mass amounts of Kia’s and Hyundai’s being stolen; resources, patiences, and energy are running on empty because I will not tolerate subclass service because my car was part of the unfortunate group who has to deal with this."
"I could write a novel about how miserable my recent experiences here have become. Reed Hyundai had my 2016 Sonata in for insurance-covered steering column and ignition repairs after it was stolen in 4/23. During the three months that they took to perform the repairs, they initiated communication a total of two times, could barely give me any info when I called, misled me multiple times about what parts were needed and how much longer repairs would require, told me two and a half months into the repairs that my car also needed a new engine, and mistakenly tried to persuade me to pay an extra $2100 for work they had not done that my insurance would cover via estimate supplement. When I took my vehicle in for replacement of the wheels, they took 6 hours instead of the 1.5 that the manager himself told me to expect; moreover, they tried to charge me $380 more for new tire stem valves - money that my insurer would provide via supplement. I had to go find the manager myself to get that sorted out. I don't blame Hyundai for the rash of recent thefts, the lack of service technicians, and the long lead times for parts, but this dealership's poor service, scant communication, and sloppy bookkeeping is unacceptable. I sincerely hope this dealership can return to the level of functionality and customer service I was pleased with years ago, but in the meantime, I will be advising friends, family, and strangers alike to avoid this shop."
