"This was our 1st time at this location. The food was really good and the service was awesome. The Cheeseburger was cooked really well along with My wife and son's Pollo Magnifico. My daughter's meal came with a slushy and ice cream, she was very happy. :-) The table servie was great also."

"We loved the food. It was great! However, our server was extremely rude and we pretty much had to wait on ourselves. They weren't busy, yet she told us she didn't have time for us. She worked the bar area, yet not one person was at the bar. We were 1 of 3 tables and she was worried about some men at another table. I'm sure it was because she was thinking she'd get a better tip from them. Sadly, I used to waitress and tend to over tip for even mediocre service. If you want Jose Peppers, I would behoove you to try the one on Johnson Drive or Midland Dr. We ALWAYS get great service from both places. We've tried the one at the Legends several times... service there is hit or miss."

"Horrible experience. Started with the waitress who seemed bothered to have to serve us. Waited 10 minutes to order drinks, another 15 to order the meal. My husband got the chicken fajitas, too spicy, salsa too spicy. I ordered the puffy taco, and it was ok, but everything here is overly spiced. Waitress DID NOT COME BACK ONCE TO CHECK AND SEE IF EVERYTHING WAS OK OR IF WE NEEDED REFILLS. We were there for about 30 minutes, and she stopped by to put the check on the table. No, do you need anything else? We both clearly only ate part of our meals, no " do you need a box?" When I asked her for a box, again it was a bother to her, I guess. Mind you, the restaurant was NOT busy, we were there at 3:30. We were seated in the bar area, and she had 1 person sitting at the bar and our table. She had 3 more parties come into her area when we were there, but really, 5 tables. I would NEVER go here again. Food is much better elsewhere, and again, the service was HORRIBLE."

"Stopped in for an early dinner, we ordered the chili con queso and two taco plates. The queso was good a little thinner than we prefer but the flavors were definitely hitting. My husband had three beef tacos with a side of rice, beans and flour tortillas. The tacos were massive, I've never seen this guy struggle to finish tacos, I guess there is a first for everything. The ground beef was seasoned beautifully. This is where he struggles with flavors, so often the meat is dull and lacks in good flavor but Jose Peppers has got this nailed. His beans and rice were definitely standard and as you'd expect. I had the Corona shrimp tacos, although quite flavorful and again massive in portion size the shrimp was heavily breaded. All flavor points hit and hit hard but I did find myself peeling a lot of the breading off, as it was a bit much. There is another choice of shrimp taco, my next visit I'll ask for the seasoned shrimp with the toppings of the Corona shrimp tacos. Kind of a mish mash if you will. We will definitely be back to try other items from the menu as so many of the offered dishes looked and sounded tempting. Two meals with an appetizer and the bill was under $40 that's a rarity these days especially for the amount of food you're receiving, I would have banked the bill to be much higher, so value is on point."

"Service here was fast and our waitress was attentive to the table. The food was piping hot and the portion size was huge. We had no issues during our visit and were surprised that it was not too busy considering the time of night. The location is perfect for a lunch or dinner after shopping in the area."
