"If I could give no stars, I would. Unfortunately this office is run very unprofessionally from the Dr. to the administrative staff. Once the appointment was made, I was lied to regarding their calls and inquiries to my insurance company. No inquires were made, just an estimate of the amount I would have to cover. I was given this amount (apparently a random dollar figure) and I paid on the spot. After the appointment I received a bill for nearly $500.00. When I questioned that bill, the administrative assistant, Lisa, told me that me I was out of luck and it's "just the way they do business". My insurance company verified there was no inquiry by Dr. Bucher's office. Clearly this office is unethical or doesn't know how to work with insurance carriers. After the first call to discuss the matter, I was told I would receive a return call after it was discussed in their office. Of course I didn't. I had to track them down to get the information. If you are looking for a new dentist, look further. This office shows no respect for their clients and their lack of experience and professionalism will result in a problem for you. There are plenty of ethical dental offices in the KC area. This one is not on that list."
