"3/19/2024: Juan's! That's what our family calls it! If you haven't been here, this is what some would call a "hole-in-the-wall" type of place. Amazing food and amazing service above all. I've eaten other authentic Mexican food, so don't get me wrong. But Juan's is literally the best, hands down. Most of us know him from his days serving at El Magueys in Oak Grove, where he basically became famous among our family and friends, essentially Oak Grove itself. Juan has provided my family, friends, and me with the best restaurant experience of our lives, and he continues to serve us today at his own place, which we know as El Paisas Mexican Restaurant in Lone Jack, Missouri. I can recall many, many, many... many years ago meeting Juan when I was a teen in school, taking care of my friends. Several years later, Juan would see Stacey and me start our family, always treating our kids like family. Stacey and I recall times when Juan would pick the boys up from their car seats and hold them, and as we leave, he'd give them each a ring pop. Juan has literally been part of our family's lives all these years, simply because of the A+ service he has always provided. Juan has an incredible gift, not only as a server but also in his ability to remember everyone he meets. He becomes their friend, often as close as family, remembering their drinks and meals. Juan, your service is amazing, and I must tell you how thankful I am for all you have done. I've seen you work your butt off all these years, and I am proud to see you with your own restaurant, my friend. You deserve so much recognition for all you do for so many. Thank you, Juan, for being the best server we've ever had, for being a great friend, and for giving my family these wonderful memories all these years now. 2022 Old Review: This is a really great place to eat Mexican style food. The staff are amazing and take great care of you each time we've been there. This is a go-to place for our family from this point on. We've been there about five times last couple of months and hope to make it six here soon. I can't say enough about this business and the staff."

"We had dinner there tonight. We got right in. Ordered mixed fajitas and a margarita. They were very good! Only complaint I have is they forgot the salt. Lol the side that cone with it are great! I have to say it's a couple dish because there is enough for two! The only thing negative I can say is their a/c on a 100 degree day is a little weak. If you are close to lone Jack is definitely worth the stop and get some good Mexican food!!"
