"Tracked an Amazon package post office said needed to contact them tried the 800 number just said it’s being held at the post office. Went to the post office waited in line for just over 20 minutes then I was quizzed on why it wasn’t delivered. They said it’s out for delivery again. Three days later still no package and no one will answer the phone."
"If you want packages to disappear have them routed through Madison, MS. Once they leave there, they are never to be seen again. Oh, don't bother calling their local number, they have it rolled to a full voice-mail!"
"I live in Madison and have to drive to the Ridgeland post office because this is the most poorly ran post office I have EVER used! The Priority mailing kiosk station is ALWAYS empty of supplies, but ALWAYS full of trash. I’m literally sitting in the parking lot after my 3rd attempt in 2 months to use the kiosk before opening hours, again with NO SUPPLIES. So frustrating! The 100 Christmas cards I mailed out this year on December 4th made it to everyone January 10th…what a waste of time and money! And good luck getting a smile out of any of the employees. Don’t waste your time here, make the drive to Ridgeland or Canton!"
"Constantly delivers packages to the wrong locations and will even put packages right next to garbage. Our house is the easiest house to find in our neighborhood and the number is on the HOUSE AND MAILBOX. Could not find multiple packages for five hours despite saying it had been delivered. My dad and I went to multiple different houses asking if they had seen them because this happens everytime we order anything and USPS delivers. Could not find them and then when he went to go take out the trash it had been sitting right next to it with a disgusting liquid all over the box. There was damage to to items in the box and we had to beg the company to give a refund even though it wasn't there fault! It is not hard to walk 3 feet to a door and I know they would be in rage if somebody did this to them."
"The Madison, MS Post Office has more problems than any other PO I have ever used. Almost all of the workers at the front are beyond rude, complacent and could care less about customer service. Deliveries are an entirely other problem/issue. When you get to a point where you are afraid to place an order because you are concerned that it won’t make it to your home in time or at all, there is definitely a problem. Like other customers have said, either the package is listed as “delivered”…when in reality it’s not, “attempted delivery”…when in reality it hasn’t been attempted, “undeliverable” because mailbox is full…when clearly it’s not for a large sized box, the drivers don’t follow the directions for delivery (no signature required or please leave at front door so it won’t get wet), and/or they fudge the delivery updates. It is so especially frustrating when you miss out on a job because the post office can’t get their act together. This time I had a delivery of several large boxes that I requested to leave at my front door. Out of seven boxes of the same order, two of them were delivered correctly. But for the other five, the driver put a notice in my mailbox saying “sorry we missed you…5 oversized boxes”. That’s it, nothing was checked as to why they weren’t left. There is plenty of room on my front porch and the other driver on the same day didn’t seem to have any problems. (Btw…thank you to that driver) It is just so many more bad experiences than good, and it is becoming ridiculous. I know and understand that everyone has a bad day and/or makes mistakes, but when workers are rude to you for no reason (especially when you go above and beyond to be kind), and packages aren’t delivered as guaranteed not once, but twice…it is definitely a problem."
