"It's a little hard to give anything other than one star when they are not even open during their posted hours. I got lost today (Wednesday) trying to find the place. After a hour of driving around and trying to call their office (there was no answer) I finally reached their gate at 3:30pm. The gate was locked. Their hours as outlined on their own website is 9am-4:30pm Tuesday through Saturday with last admission being at 4:00pm. So I would recommend NOT coming here as obviously your time will be wasted. I hope the park closes and the staff lose their jobs."
"Great little slice of history here that doesn't get enough publicity!! Sorry interesting stop and provides a lot of history about the site and the area. Kids really enjoyed the hands-on lab where they got to touch everything from the weapons to the pottery to fossils and baskets. We really had a good time checking this out. Can highly recommend checking this out of you're in the area."
"What a great experience for children. Shilling Farms Elementary School extended the learning experience by visiting the Indian artifact museum. Long distance, but well worth the drive. There is a small gift shop. And a hands on exhibit for the children to touch and feel and create conversations. Also the scavenger hut had them reading exhibits, reading questions and searching for answers - great group cooperation. They were also able to hand make pottery bowls to take home. Great Field-Trip!"
"Very nice view of ancient Native American grounds. Great nature walk. Informative displays and a good video show."
"Had a blast! Very informative on the Mississippi Valley Tribes, especially the Chactaw. The nature trails are great too. Can't wait to return."
