"Signed up for an online visit, waited almost an hour and was kicked out. Called the location and they say “oh we don’t know anything about the telehealth” even though you book it on THEIR WEBSITE. So come to find out you can book an appointment PAST THE TIME TELEHEALTH IS AVAILABLE. It’s based in California on PST but their website has options to book at 5-7pm (telehealth is only open until 3pm CST) Not apologetic, just straight rude. Ended up getting an appointment with Fast Pace and was walked through the process and seen within 20 minutes. Maxim Urgent Care is the epitome of disgusting on how they treat the patients after options THEY suggest online."
"Employees are nice nurses are polite place is clean…. But besides take your money. They are to lazy to do there job just a place to go for a quick antibiotic and that’s it . They will not perform services listed. The rings so so very true the first few hours they are open in the morning. I will never go to this place again this has happened for that once. Don’t waste your money the LPN’S and nurses are to lazy to work. Your better off goin to a witch doctor or a drugged out hippie"
"I brought my 17 month old daughter in the other day for a high fever, rash, and vomiting. The female NP was very condescending and got onto me about not having a pediatrician (even though I told her twice that we JUST moved to Ocean Springs from out of state). She also assumed that I was incorrectly dosing my child with fever reducer (I am a seasoned parent and I know what the correct dosage is), and that must be why her fever would not diminish. She chalked my baby's symptoms up to an ear infection (even though there was zero evidence of an ear infection) and sent us away with an antibiotic. I immediately went to the ER with my daughter, and she has been staying inpatient for three days now with an infection that could have killed her had I listened to the NP's advice and not sought a second opinion. (Also, obviously no ear infection.) I asked her to draw blood, I felt that it was needed, but she refused. Had she taken the time to care about my child and drawn blood, she would have seen where her WBC was so low, it was critical. NP, I hope you see this and realize that your bad days cannot be brought into work with you! It could have cost my child her life!"
"From desk lady was very agitated. Might have caught her on a bad day. She talked to me like I was the last person she’d wanted to see. Then I went in to see the Dr. He rushed the conversation. Walked out for an X-ray and saw him just sitting on his phone in his office. Would have felt less offensive if he was rushing to catch another patient. Then took less than a minute to explain the diagnosis. Given the series of events that led to my condition I still doubt the diagnosis and the treatment. Will be being going to a new Dr. to review. Did not like the experience. Do not recommend."
