"This business needs to get its act together. People are having tests that can determine if they live or die and the staff are sitting on test results and not getting them the doctor in a timely fashion. Test results were supposed to be sent to the doctor almost two weeks ago. They were never sent. We alled last week and were told it was sent to the doctor already. Doctor called. They told him it was on its way. Called today and was told reaults were still not sent "because they didn't know where to send it or who the doctor was,," even though they told us and the doctor that it was already faxed. When they said the never sent it, they also informed me that they do not update files when people call regarding tests. I informed them the doctor was the one who ordered the test and they were suddenly able to find it but my husband, the patient, had to call in to confirm the fax number. Was told it would be sent today...3rd time. Fingers crossed. What a highly disappointing experience. FYI, I asked for the person's name who answered today and sheconviently didn't give her name, only that "a lot of people answer the phone and she was upstairs not down stairs." This is not helpful. At all. This type of work ethic in medical settings can cost lives. Shame on everyone who allows this type of behavior to continue. It starts with the director and trickles down. Disgusting."
