"We had our 2 year old here for a year. She started in the older 1's. There are 14 children in a smallish room with 2 "teachers". One staff member opened the front door, let her walk out on her own & before I could get to her she let her fall off the curb & skinned her knee. Another time they did admit she had her foot slammed in the door by the staff (her foot was so bruised it was hard to put her shoes on for the rest of the week), "fell off some toy into the windowsill" and busted her lip, had parainfluenza virus, RSV, Foot & Mouth. Of course charged us for all the days she missed because she wasn't able to attend even though the doctors cleared her to go back after she was longer contagious. Came home with more scratches, bruises, & injuries that were never reported to us. When questioned as to how or what happened to her, she was kicked out that day. No warning whatsoever. We were called a "bad fit" because we inquired about her injuries. In addition prices went over $200/week. The children receive raisin bread, biscuits, pancakes w/some fruit for breakfast. A decent nonprocessed lunch most days, but not always. Crackers & water for afternoon snack. When we promised more substantial snacks like: sweet potato fries, cheese, etc, I had to bring food & drink for our little girl when I picked her up because she was hungry & very thirsty. Frequent staff changes. Center couldn't tell me who her "teachers" were for Teacher Appreciation day, so I wrote 2 appreciation notes to the wrong staff members! Many different staff initials for diaper changes. I could go on forever. I feel sorry for people who have to send their child here."

"The only review we had on this site was from an employee posing to be a parent who was let go. Kidz Karousel is a 4 star quality rated child care center. They care very much about how the children and parents feel and that they are respected. We have never had the concerns that this person has boasted. The owner as well as the Managers are always willing and able to assist and help both staff and families should any concerns arise. This center was voted best childcare center on the northshore. Come in and take a tour for yourself and see what a quality rated educational school looks like!"

"I've had my child enrolled in Kidz Karousel in Mandeville for almost a full school year, and am also decent acquaintances with several of the other instructors here aside from my child's. Several things alarm me about this facility, so much so that I've recently decided to pull my child from attendance here. First, the school has recently apparently been making quite a few staff changes, the most concerning of which were some of the most talented and trustworthy teachers at this location. I've heard word that these staff changes were a bit shady and certainly not voluntary. Several parents that I am acquainted with, as well as myself, are also upset because they were not notified of these changes in their children's curriculum or teacher, and we are nearing the end of the school year! Who are these new teachers and where is the staff we know and love? The administration seems far from willing to divulge this information, and in fact are very nonchalant about our children's education and the changes in their classroom schedules and routine. I am not happy about this, and my wife and I will not be putting our trust in these Kidz Karousel centers again. There are too many better options in the area, and ones far more worth our high tuition."
