"Fantastic golf course with nice open fairways, well kept greens and no houses or roads to contend with. Lots of nature to enjoy, deer, birds, alligators and other local creatures of the woods were evident and observable. Club house was great. Service was excellent. Clean locker rooms, spacious common areas and a nice bar with good food. Really enjoyed our experience there"

"My wife and I have now played in 14 different stares and grand bear is at the top of the list. Not just the quality of the course which is equal to any country club, bit the facilities clubhouse all top notch especially the friendliness of all the staff. Hard and challenging but worth every cent and stroke. Couldn't have had a better day. Thank you"

"Absolutely beautiful course. Extremely well planned out and fun. While not extraordinary in difficulty it does have some challenges and the greens are pure. The crew keeps this course in amazing condition. Every green was running smooth and fast. Bunkers were well maintained as well as the fringes. Fairways were tightly mowed and a little muddy but still amazing. The staff was amazingly polite and accommodating! If I had any one negative it's that they don't like it when singles call to book times, but that's a lot of big courses nowadays. Hopefully get back next time I'm in town."

"Great experience. Played June 29 and 30, and the course was in splendid shape. Manicured well, greens had barely a mark on them, bunkers played true. Highly recommend playing Grand Bear. Our second day there, Sarah helped us with the cart and ran cold towels out to us... she made a difference - thank you! BONUS TIP: get a breakfast sandwich from the restaurant...they are outstanding!"

"Awesome course and very friendly staff. Worth every penny. Had a burger after my round and it was awesome. Had a delay of an hour and a half due to rain and the staff kept us up to date when we should be able to tee off. Greens drained quick and not long after the rain stopped we were able to start. Well maintained course. Will be back"
