"Workers are extremely rude to customers and doordashers. I doordash here pretty often and every single time I have to pick an order up I wait 20+ minutes due to all the workers hiding in the back playing on the computers & phones then they’re extremely rude when I’ve stood out front on multiple occasions in the freezing cold for 10+ minutes waiting on someone to come request the name for my doordash. When I order food here it’s always cold or stale. This restaurant won’t be getting my business again. & if it wasn’t for being penalized for not accepting orders on doordash I wouldn’t pick up orders here either."
"The is great….dearer not so much. The funnel cake fries taste like they were cooked and then put back into the grease. The brookie is soggy and looks undone. It feel like a sponge."
"I have not had an issue until tonight. I sent my son to Checkers since we live near by. I had my phone alert me that $7.72 had been charged. Shortly after, my son (17) called and said my card declined. I walked up and showed them the pending charge. The young girl said it did not go through. I let them try the card again and saw the card machine said approved, yet the order remained on the screen. Another bank notification came through for $7.72. She said it was declined again. I let her know that the card machine said approved. She went and got to the manager who was pretty grumpy and overall not friendly at all. She made it seem like this was my fault. She then cleared the screen and stated the money would be returned to me. The girl had rung it up wrong somehow and now it would work. She ran my card again and had the audacity to say it was partially approved, for $3.20. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck. I had $18 and some change to last me until the next day. I said of course it was partially approved since you have already charged me twice. The manager did an override and gave my son and I our food. (Thank you for that) Once again, the attitude of the manager and the clear lack of empathy and customer service skills made the experience worse. I would have been happy for an apology or even better attitudes from the employee and manager. If you work in customer service I get it.. people suck. Just use common sense and listen to the ones who are calm and clearly can show you proof that something is wrong with your point of sale machine syncing with your card reader."
"Just stopped in for the first time today since they opened, and I must say I'm really impressed. The line was a bit long, but that's to be expected when a new restaurant comes to a small town like ours, everyone is ready to try something new. Overall though, it wasn't a long wait, and the service from the staff was perfect. As for the food itself, I ordered a double fish sandwich (because I have to try the fish sandwich from every place that has one) and I must say I'm super impressed. The fish had great texture & taste, and the sandwich itself was well put together and not overly messy. The fries were also fantastic, and probably have taken Wendy's place as my number one favorite fry in town. My only slight complaint is the sweet tea was VERY sweet, a bit too much in my opinion, but I also know others will probably enjoy it, so I can't dock stars for a preference thing. The price for everything came in just under 20$, and that works out considering my partner and I got big sandwiches (I think she got a big Buford it was called?) both as medium combos. Overall, this was a great first experience, and I plan to go back many more times in the future!"
