"Modest and a great pit stop. We always stop here on the trip between Seattle and Bend. Perfect spot to walk the dog and take pictures on the jetty on the Columbia River."
"Nice but noisy. Beautiful views with lovely fall colors. But the highway and train noise are very loud."
"Nice, clean, well maintained campground with easy access. However, I can't recommend if you're looking for a good night's rest. Trucks coming down hill on HWY 97 would use their compression brakes all night- most were unruffled and very loud. The trains run 24/7, and the sprinkler system kicks in at 3am. The watering system is surprisingly loud when your head is close to the ground in a tent. Stonehenge was worth the visit."
"This place is gorgeous! We planned to stay at another campground about 30 miles away that didn’t work out, so we made our way here and lucked out with the last spot available! The place had lush green grass and tall trees, a welcome sight after driving miles and miles in the eastern Washington desert. It was very well kept, with exceptionally clean bathrooms and even a free shower! It also had a nice swim area and beach on the river, with great views of the Columbia river and gorge. The staff were very friendly and made rounds to check on guests, they offered firewood for sale. The only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars was because of how close it is to the road and the railway. Trains drove by constantly throughout the night, and traffic on the road was consistent too. With ear plugs it wasn’t so bad, so I would recommend bringing some if you’re in a tent. The wind picked up pretty heavily throughout the afternoon and evening, which felt nice in the 90+ degree heat and probably helped with keeping bugs away. Overall, would definitely come back!"
"Beautiful green grass maintained by sprinklers so don't put anything outside of designated tent areas!! One of the nicest campgrounds we've been to, pebble beach, great swimming river where you can cool off and watch boats/trains go by all day. If it was closer to Vancouver, Canada this would be a regular spot!!"
