Reviews
"Easy access, located on the corner of Hwy 101 & Front St in downtown Tillamook, it features a modern kayak & boat launch, very clean public bathroom facilities and well kept landscaping around the small attached park that consists of a grass area with several picnic tables with some public parking against the sidewalk along it's side. There's also a permanent food truck installation within walking distance a few blocks away on 1st & Stillwell."
"This is SUCH an amazing local spot to kayak that more people need to know about! It’s accessible for people experiencing physical disabilities with specially designed launch pad and ramp! This is my new favorite spot to take beginner kayakers for a leisure paddle! It is in down town Tillamook and there is plenty of parking, kayak storage, and even bathrooms! Pro Trips: *Lake a left off the ramp (right dead-ends) *Make sure the tide is at least 1-2ft or you will be sitting in mud *I’ve found it to be a relatively easy paddle regardless of the tide coming in or out! *Water can be murky depending on tide towards the beginning of the paddle but gets better as you go! *Make it a goal to get to the fork in the river! Choose left or right…both are amazing! Keep out my fb page for more tips local tips at Tillamook County Adventure Page!"
"Kayak and wheelchair boat ramp on hoquarton slough in Tillamook, Oregon. Nice place to hang out."
"Never used the boat ramp. New simple bathroom, kayak launch and storage. Much better place since they redid the place!"
