Labcorp at Providence Milwaukie Hospital

"Since Providence has changed their lab to Lab corp, it has been inconvenient to have blood work done, it’s honestly like going to the DMV. Every location I’ve been to from Bridgeport to St V’s and Milwaukie are all walk-in’s and the line is approximately a 1-2 hr wait."

"I just waited 2 hrs for one lab draw. Luckily I had today off from work but this is a barrier for your patients who do work full time jobs. I would also love to be able to schedule appointments for lab draw in advance. The staff were fine but clearly stressed about the amount of patients sitting in the lobby."

"I had the best experience at Providence Milwaukie labs today. At my doctor's office they were unable to get a drop, so they sent me to the hospital to get my blood drawn. The lady that took my blood was awesome nailed it with no bruising. Wait time was quick. I treated myself to breakfast after at the cafeteria awards (I was fasting for my test) Very nice visit overall for a hospital trip, just wish the gift shop was open."

"Nice and polite staff, but the process can be very slow. Think they need to replace their IT system and/or staff. The delays I've seen are when trying to find arcane codes to match the requested test, or just waiting to pull up my info. Beyond that sitting and waiting until it's my turn. But that's just how getting labs done works with often 1 person there to do them. Wish we could skip the hospital check in too which can take some additional time."
