"I really don't understand the positive reviews for Flow. My experience was polar opposite. It is possible that I was treated poorly for a discriminatory reason. The atmosphere is judgemental. The patient care is abysmal and borders on the line of negligence. The communication is poor. I was sent invites and updates on Dr. Hamilton's new social media blog but not being responded to for months through the patient portal. I requested a specialist referral that I never received. I was left with an extremely painful condition for 6 months. When asked for a reason for not calling in the referral, I was never given an honest explanation. It has now been nearly 9 months and that referral still has not been called in. It is possible that they have too many patients to see each one adequately. They do absolutely nothing for pain or chronic illness. Appointment after appointment resulted in expensive labs, costly diet recommendations, questionable supplements, and follow ups but there was no actual healthcare or improved symptoms. If you are a challenging or complicated case, they want you to go away. Flow ordered thousands of dollars worth of labs that were not covered by insurance. Some of these labs were not necessary. My new provider informed me that most of them were not rooted in science nor of any medical value and that likely I was misled. I was put on supplements from a company that the practitioner received a commission from. I asked for a basic lab order that took months to get and once I got to the lab, discovered the wrong labs were ordered. Flow never corrected the order. The practice wants you to schedule an appointment for every single thing in attempt to squeeze every dime from your wallet. For example, getting a blood glucose test ordered at one visit and then wanting to charge you another visit to tell you the results. This place cost me unnecessary financial, physical, & emotional turmoil. It is sad they falsely advertise like they are different from the rest of the flawed heathcare system. If you are from a marginalized group and in a situation where you need cost effective, efficient healthcare, please consider another place."
