"I interviewed four different concrete contractors for my substantial voluntary sidewalk repair job and felt that Adam with Pliant was the most professional and thorough when he came out to my house to give me a quote. Adam was friendly, easy to communicate with, responsive, and his crew completed the job within the promised time frame. I had a very challenging situation on one side of my house with a large cherry tree with giant roots that had significantly lifted and buckled a portion of the sidewalk, creating a trip hazard several inches in height. I avoided dealing with it for many years as it got increasingly hazardous because I didn't want to hurt the tree or be told it had to be cut down. Adam reassured me that they would be able to ramp over the roots within ADA specifications and satisfy the City. They also fixed the trip hazards and loose concrete created by the roots of my three plum blossom trees on the front side of my house. Those required some slight ramping as well. Pliant cut three wells for those trees at my request to make more room for the roots and filled the wells at the end of the project. The crew also saved the historic 1911 sidewalk stamp at my request, cutting the piece of concrete out for me and carrying it to my backyard. I couldn't bear to have it go in the dumpster. I already got a text from my neighbor complimenting the work and they just finished and cleaned up today! I would definitely recommend Pliant to others and would use them again for future projects."
