"My 18 year old Havanese, has elevated liver enzymes and was prescribed Tramadol for pain. When the liver is compromised, the last thing you do is prescribe Tramadol. Again, poor patient care. Always get a 2nd opinion!"
"Very helpful and knowledgeable about how they treat animals. My family has been taking our three poodles to them for years and now that I have my own puppies I already have them scheduled to go now as well! Love this Vet!"
"Always helpful and prompt. Never any pressure on treatment pathways and very informative. I trust them to take good care of our dogs"
"I visted Baker street AH Monday due to my cat vomiting for three days and not eating. They were quick to get me an appt and the receptionist was super sweet. They took my cat to the back for an exam from Doctor Scheiper instead of in the room with me and then when the doctor did come in to talk to me one of the first things she said was that he might have diabetes and euthanasia is something that we need to consider. This was before any tests were even done or discussed which was very alarming and i started crying right there. They took blood and xrays which didnt tell us much being that he was dehydrated some values were off, they gave him fluids and anti nausea meds and sent him home $600 later and then trying to charge me for two emergency vist fees. I was told at discharge if he continues to not eat then he needs an ultrasound but that was it. When i left i asked for the bloodwork and xrays to be emailed to me incase i needed to take him to the ER and was told theyd send them right away, an hour later i still got nothing so i called again and was told theyd sent them right way.. again and then Two hours later I decided to take him to the ER so i called for records again but they were closed so they didnt answer but then two minutes later sent them over. When we got to the ER they told me his heart rate was extremely low (Dr. S never mentioned a low heart rate) and after redoing the xrays because the xrays we just had done the same day was blurry and looked like “they took a screenshot of”. I do not know how the other Doctor at this practice is and the staff is super nice but absolutely do not let Dr S touch your animals and CHECK THOSE INVOICES."
"Baker Street Animal Hospital has been my vet for over 15 years. I take my cat and dogs to Dr. Wilson and his team. They are quick, accommodating, and are willing to answer a ton of questions without getting annoyed. I would recommend taking your pet to Dr. Wilson."
