"We adopted Duckie, a Chihuahua, in April 2020. He is an amazing, intelligent creature. We love him."
"Christy is the BEST! She is loving and caring and makes sure each rescues needs are met! She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. Both of my little rescues went thru her and were loved like immediate family until they found their “forever home”. I have texted her to many times to count and she answers back almost immediately always with helpful answers. From grooming advice to good info on breeds and diet Christy has most answers. She sets your new baby up with some food clothing and gear as you head out her door. You can’t go wrong if you adopt from this business that is purely enveloped in love ❤️"
"I adopted a senior miniature pinscher named Ronnie from this rescue last month and I love her so much! Christy was great to work with and communicated with me about everything concerning Ronnie: Her health, demeanor, potty training, and diet. I highly recommend Displaced Pets Rescue!"
"We have had the opportunity to visit Displaced Pets twice now. We first adopted a 14 year old tiny senior Pomeranian on Christmas Day, who had been around since August. She was wonderful and quirky, and very quickly became a member of our family. We adored her and loved her from the start. After three weeks of joy, miss Lisa had declined with total trachea collapse. My daughter and I said our goodbyes together that day. It was hard and incredibly sad. Not long after Christy contacted us about Lisa and offered to help place another senior in our care. (We do senior care/retirement for dogs and cats.) In a few days we went up to visit again and we had seen two more Pomeranian seniors that had been surrendered by an elderly lady. One was 13 and the other 11. We decided to take both home with us after meeting a couple of the seniors. Lisa had left such a void in our home that as a family we needed these two as much as they needed us. Only a couple months now have passed and Anna and Bunny have settled so nicely into our home. The eldest Anna is definitely showing her age; sleepy and a bit slow and Bunny is our little 'ADHD' gal; Hyper and easily distracted. They're humorous in ways and a joy for cuddles. Once the time comes for us to say our goodbyes to these seniors we will be in contact again. Thank you for all you do."
