"They were most unwilling to help me in times of struggle I went there for many terms and one time I needed help they would not allow me to pull out without taking the hit. This term was especially challenging as I was struggling with my landlord over flowers planted in my private back yard, but also community areas, and in containers in my back patio and also hung in my windows, yes flowers! They were beautiful and tastefully arranged and planted, but NW Pacific Management is also a corrupt corporation. I had my car broken into and things of significant value stolen (the police also corrupt, uninterested in helping find the thieves, even though there was much in camera). This same term I was, during class, attacked and stung by more than thirty ground hornets, (horticulture program)students were pulling my curls from my scalp literally to help stop the stinging them and up my dress they had gone too cinched and caught in the waist, the pain was severe , the entire affair excruciatingly humiliating; they did not call the EMT, nor have an epipen, at the time, thankfully I’m not allergic, ( one was ordered on line that day in my presence and didn’t really want to be seen as weak then, nor now, but if were anyone else I would find it completely lacking in decent response in consideration of concern and safety of the students. I was sick from the venom the next day and though i had never missed a day of class before Ms J Schillings would not allow the test regarding the information I would have gleaned from the field trip I missed be dropped from my grade point average, even knowing all else with which I was struggling. I was side swiped on thanksgiving, after this, totaling my truck and breaking my ribs and in light of all this, it was not enough for them to allow me to pull out of classes. The same year JaNelle Bennett, an instructor at Winema, was extraordinarily toxic with her demeanour and behaviour to my daughter, creating a situation, by not working with her, due to these same stressful situations, which affected her education at the same time, forced her, by not working with her either, to be unable to walk with her class at graduation, so she had to take her class again this school year where she further attempted to derail her education with bullying techniques. She swears openly and profusely in classroom, discussing her personal subscription to feminism lgbt politics, sexual orientation, to include, in great detail, sexual activities inappropriate for classroom discussion, which made it hard for her to feel even able to allow me to take it to the school board for review, for fear of being denied her diploma. These situations were brought to the school authorities, both years and nothing was remedied. All instructors and counsellors involved were supported, our complaints and rights to decent education and considerations for extenuating circumstances were completely dismissed, as if they were invalid and had no warrant. I do not encourage anyone give them any resources, as they neither support, nor address the needs of their students appropriately. Completely irreverent corporation. Corrupt to the bone. I am making it a point, a personal crusade to help people avoid making a choice to face the adversity I did in this school and telling the truth of the latter everywhere in the internet as I feel I owe it to the people of Salem to have the opportunity to understand the nature of those involved in running this establishment."
