"Dirty, unkept, drab, cave like atmosphere, and everybody looks like they rolled out of bed, threw on whatever and showed up. Horrible!! Appearance at a school of this type/industry says everything to me! I made an appointment, showed up on time, nobody in lobby area, and I was not helped for 35 minutes!! Then two different students soaked off my acrylic nails. I was irritated by this time. I use a walker, I'm recovering from a broken back, sitting for long periods of time is really hard on me. Two and half hours later, I was DONE, on every level! $12 ...NOT WORTH IT!! I was thinking the whole time, you get what you pay for. This is not the Phagans I Remer from 40 years ago, ABSOLUTELY needs an overhaul on EVERY LEVEL!!!"
"This place is terrible. I called to confirm my appointment and asked if we can come in at 30 min earlier instead and was told yes. I got here on time but apparently the receptionist never changed the times and only removed my name off the schedule. Then another employee started helping me and added me back to the original time with the chance of being seen earlier. It is passed my scheduled time and still have not been seen. This place needs to work on their time because it’s a joke ."
"I wanted to get a manicure and they were reasonably priced compared to other places and it chipped before I even got out of there. Leah fixed it for me for nothing and fixed several other nails that were chipping. She’s remarkable. Ask for Leah."
"Come here for the chance to help someone learn and get educated. Cutting real hair prepares the students for actual business. Remember, they ARE students, and if you are a perfectionist , a full service salon may suit you better."
