"I also thought it had a culty vibe, when my son & I went about a yr & 1/2 ago. A local addict, who went there recommended it & we went separately, but didn't see him & never went back. He told me his pastor told him that he shouldn't be helping us or any1 else, even though he could afford 2, saying it made him feel good. So the last time we saw him, he dodged us, as if he'd been told 2, as though I was convicted of something other than being homeless. He'd always gratefully acknowledged my son before that, showing pics of his son, who was terminally ill & he always said that they should meet each other. So, when he dodged us, asking us to wait there 4 him & he didn't return, I had 2 explain this "culty vibe" 2 my son, who has not wanted 2 attend any church since. I hope he reconsiders."

"I have a friend who was helping the church volunteering I woke him up for church and throughout the week so he could help them move. He was so happy telling me about all the good ppl but the Lord made me sick and my shoes were falling apart. Someone found out he had a warrant so petty they let him out in 2 hours after he was arrested. They dragged him out of church and sent him to jail with no behavioral issues in church at all. After this he has been having a really tough time and I'm scared for him he's really sad. He was so happy being apart of the community and he was really disappointed when I told him I couldn't go to help. There's one thing the church doesn't have that's Jesus He's way more forgiving and it wasn't me it happened to but he just keeps talking about all the good ppl and forgiveness even after what happened to him but obviously this is unprecedented. Who does this happen to and he's banned for a year and never had any issues with anyone at the church. I used to have a student id that said Christian leader when I went to school for ministry. Someone gave me a t shirt that says Jesus is alive I'll be burning it and posting the video against the church and rallying ppl to the cause against this rebellious institution.
