"No lines, no waiting, staff helpful and attentive got my transaction done quickly"
"In the past, this branch has been totally fine. But currently, I've had the most ridiculous experience trying to open a little checking account for a teenager. The mistakes and shenanigans that went on at this bank still aren't resolved and would take way too long to explain. But the people there were just totally incompetent and they seemed to try to imply I was talking to a manager when I really wasn't. Opening up the account has taken a month, probably about 8 phone calls to customer service, 3 emails and 2 visits. They made mistakes like transposing my SSN (which is an honest mistake and not that big of deal) but to fix it has involved them not admitting there was a mistake at all. It kept me from being able to use the account, activate the card, get a PIN number, deposit money, etc. But they just blamed things on me as if I don't know how to use online banking (I work in IT), and not taking the appropriate steps to fix it. Yesterday I was in there with my actual SSN card to try to fix. They told me all was fixed. It appeared to be, but I still cannot use it. There is still a hold on it due to the SSN issue. They did not fix it! Now I have been on the phone and more emails, etc. The account is still unusable after a month. And they were so condescending and rude! It is almost comical if it wasn't such a pain in the *ss that is taking hours of my time. Thankfully, this is just a teen account and not someone's full adulting account who needs to pay bills and make deposits. I feel like US Bank wants you to do everything online, which is great when it works, but sometimes issues happen because no app can program for every contingency. And the humans are no longer skilled enough or experienced enough to fix issues. And then they try to hide it by blaming it on the customer. I would have loved to talk to a manager about this, not to get anyone in trouble, but just to offer feedback and see if things could be fixed. But they seemed to have circumvented or canceled my appointment and then kept me from speaking to a manager on purpose. And that is why I am here. Be VERY careful if you need to actually use this branch. They just don't know what they are doing."
"Great follow up on any issue. Knowledgeable staff all of whom go the extra mile to help. Great teamwork. Efficient and friendly. Manager is a great leader and Jessica goes the extra mile to solve problems. Best banking experience I have ever had."
"Terrible experience, do not bank at this location. We went the morning of 10/15. The teller that assisted us was unprofessional and rude. He did not have a name plate or name tag anywhere and was wearing a t-shirt. We asked for new or new like bills for our trip and he gave us old and ripped bills. When we asked if there were other bills, and he replied “we don’t have any” without even looking. The way he spoke to us was rude and with attitude. It was very clear he did not want to be working there. Our previous experiences here have been good. But this gentleman was terrible."
"If I could give one star less I would. For whatever reason this bank did not want to cash my check yesterday. I have cashed the same check issued and amount with them in the past. I get a check every month for the same amount. The teller began with calling another teller over to assist. I would’ve understood if the bank simply didn’t have enough money to cover the transaction. However when I explained and asserted that I did indeed cash my check with their branch in the past and I always cash my check with US Bank the assisting teller question by motives. She told me I was wrong when I told her that I’d had a bad experience with auto deposit mistakes in the past and that my money would be so much safer if I would just take it to a Wells Fargo to cash it. Wells Fargo would put a hold on the check because it was not a Wells Fargo check and I would not be able to utilize the money until the following day. I needed my rent paid that day. The woman continued to find and create falsities in my story , I told her I have cashed my check for years so long that I remember when they used to do the fingerprint. I think she just didn’t want to listen to me because she misunderstood me and said oh I must not have catch the check with them in so long because they haven’t done the fingerprint in four years. I know they don’t do the fingerprints anymore but would not allow me to speak. She raised her voice more even when I said feel like you’re not letting me speak she continued to speak over me. She said additional identification would be required I pulled out all of my debit cards bank cards and medical identification cards. They said they could try to run the check they stuck it in the machine it did nothing and they said they could not run my check. She said there was a policy that prevented them from cashing it because it was over $2000. I left in tears feeling humiliated. I come from an abusive and traumatic background . I have no idea why I was so triggered by Yesterdays events but it was horrible I felt demeaned and dehumanized when I spoke up for myself and said you are not letting me speak. I called the Tanasbourne branch and they told me that there was no policy that would prevent US Bank from cashing my check and that they would be happy to assist me. I took the extra time out of my day to drive 10 minutes further out and get my check cashed to turn around and come back over to Cornell to pay my rent. I was late for work. I spent the rest of the day wondering what I could’ve possibly done to offend this woman. Was a some fat white woman that came off as super privileged was it the dreads in my hair and she felt like I was guilty of cultural appropriation? Because of my background I am a people pleaser by nature. And I generally uphold the notion that the customer is right whenever possible. I go out of my way to be extremely kind and courteous with my language to other people, yesterdays experience really threw me for a loop. My experiences yesterday reminded me why I do not open up a bank account with US Bank, and I just eat the seven dollar fee every month to cash my check."
