"I’ve lived here since March. The parking isn’t the best around depending on what time you come home. There is multiple car break ins weekly. So if anything is left out in sight your car will absolutely get broken in to. Sometimes the elevator can smell really bad, there has to be just poor ventilation. Luckily the summer is the only time it smells bad. They have a cleaning crew that comes a couple times a week to mop and vacuum the hallways lobby etc. There are parcel lockers but half the time they are full so Amazon etc puts packages out in the open if the lobby so people have come in and stolen packages previously. One day the key fob to enter the apartment was broken off most likely by a local vagrant. The walls are pretty thick so I can’t hear my neighbors much at all besides the person upstairs who enjoys walking around all over their place with heels. Thanks ! Lol. The Ac unit works pretty good, washer and dryer and the small dishwasher also work great which makes sense because this complex was built in 2019. In enjoy being close to the city and to work but I don’t see myself living here long term, most likely a couple more years and that’s about it."
"No one is there in the office to help you with anything. Packages get stolen. The elevator is super slow and there is only one elevator. Even if there are spots available in the garage that fit about ten cars they wont let you have a parking spot. Cars get broken into repeatedly even though it is a “secure lot”. The security cameras only pick up images and not footage and only when they are motion activated. When our car got stolen out front they couldn’t even give us any footage. I placed a maintenance request that never got filled. The windows leak when there is a lot of rain. People are doing their business outside on the sidewalk in broad day light. We made friends with a couple down the hall and found out that their unit was nearly twice the size of ours but we paid the same amount in rent which doesn’t seem fair at all. People were always breaking into the building because there was no security."
"Lived here for almost a year but ended up breaking my lease early. Area isn’t the best. Broken windows everywhere on the street and even people breaking into cars in the apartment garage. I had my car stolen from right out front of the entrance and they sent me the pic of it being stolen and told me to have a nice weekend. Management is never on site and they really nickel and dime you over everything on move out."
"If you are looking for an apartment complex where the management is never around, this is the place for you. I lived here for 1 year and 3 months and it was 1 year too long for me. There was never anyone in the leasing office, never followed up or followed through with questions I had. If you have a car , you get street parking because they only have 13 spaces and if you have an SUV you are SOL. I mean, I had to email them about a stolen package because they didnt think to email the building and let everyone know that some packages were stolen. Just didnt feel valued as a tenant at The Nexus PDX. I give this place 2/5 because rent is somewhat affordable, location is great, and each unit has AC. But if you want someone at the front desk for a little added security or a building where you feel valued then you should find another apartment complex."
"Good place to live. Great location, speedy to get to repairs and maintenance. Always clean and smells nice. I have nothing negative to say. Rooftop view is incredible. Nice modern appliances and finishes. Would recommend to anyone!"
