"Nice little park with beach access. There is a ramp all the way down to the beach. Be careful if you're coming down here with a wheelchair or limited mobility, the pathway is steep and a bit of a challenge to walk up! Most typically mobile people won't have any issues, and there are benches along the way to stop and rest. The biggest concern I'd have is trying to get a wheelchair back up to the top without help. That being said, it's a lovely park, even in the winter."
"Aspects of the park are many and worthy of a journey. There's more to see than I'm going to write. Note: Please read the plaque posted in the photo giving of story and respect to veterans. Journeying O n, you discover nicely displayed recreated whale bones, smartly placed flat boulders to view from with benches nearby, a Southerly view of a Point & a Northerly view inclusive of a Lighthouse, all of which you may have the fun of curiosity to discover their names. Journeying On, many ocean sounds, smells, occasional breezes and feels of your skin from warmth to coolness and back again offer many & different personal experiences. Stormy Winter is really nice there too:)"
"Nice lil park. Many interesting historical landmarks. Nice trail down to the beach. Handicap accessible with several resting areas for those who need them."
"Beautiful views, was low tide, and cold and windy today. There is a Vietnam memorial as well. A whale bone sculpture that was well done. It was a bit too cold to explore today. Ha."
"I use to live across the street from here so coming back feels comforting. This is a nice place to get away from the weather when visiting Nye Beach. The paths down to the beach are nice for those who have walking disabilities so most everyone can get access. Although we are no longer married to each other when I did get married we did it here on this beach."
