"I lived in this place a LONG time ago, 1990. I was just checking back, surprised it's still there. Had many a good times there. Sorry to see folks not enjoying it."
"I have lived there for 5 years. Worst place to rent don’t take a place to rent you will regret it. They are very lazy specially the manager. He is very rude and lazy. If you submit a report you gotta deal with it by yourself otherwise they would show up after 2 months. My own experience don’t go there . Zero start is not available otherwise I would put zero start they are not worthy of one star either."
"Worst place to live, and worst management. In my opinion if you want to move to one of these Apt please don’t. Had many bad experiences with management. The laziest management."
"The office manager Nathan is completely RUDE & insensitive towards the people who live in these apartments. Probably the WORST management I’ve ever had to be in contact with. I’ve spoke with many people who live in these apartments & they agree how rude he is towards people who have children! This property site needs to do better!"
"Alright folks here's the deal, i'm gonna hit you with the realest review you've ever read. I was a two year full time Nike employee rooming with 2 Oregon State graduates here at Country Oaks. The following covers our experience from day 1 until our final day. This review is based on Unit 32, the largest 3 bedroom unit in the complex. Upon moving in, Country Oaks had just installed brand new carpet and had the entire unit cleaned out. A good presentation as new tenants. Pros: - Brand new carpet. Soft, new, and ready to go. - Spacious living room. Easily fit three separate 55 inch tvs for the ultimate man cave experience. -2 bathrooms, double the piss+dump experience. Cons: - Fleas, these were apparent in the apartment upon the first day of moving in. We don't know how they got there but they F***** me up. I have scars from all my bites. - Brown water. We were told it was safe, so whatever i guess, but the tap water comes out of the kitchen and bathroom faucets yellow/brown occasionally. "Minerals" are the cause apparently. - Smoking. This was an odd phenomenon for us. While on vacation (nobody was home) we actually received a smoking warning for marijuana. The warning told us we would be fined+ inspected if another warning was issued. This was based on absolutely 0 substantial evidence. I confronted the landlord and the problem was eventually solved. None the less it was a non-issue that we had to deal with. - Water pressure. Water pressure is very weak around the unit and the water pipes are old. - Parking. There is very little visitor parking. Our unit came with 2 spots leaving 1 of us to consistently park well outside the unit grounds and walk far distances to reach home. - Homeless. The homeless consistently dumpster dive and pull all your recent garbage out, leaving it in the streets, or taking it with them. Sometimes they sleep in the hallways that lead to the front door. On multiple occasions before work at 5am, i would find homeless sleeping outside my front door. But apparently its our responsibility to to remove them or call some hotline. Be prepared for this. - Crime. If you don't lock your car it is 100% going to be broken into, rummaged through, and slept in. On one occasion as well, me and my roommate pulled into Country Oaks to see a Swat Unit standing outside in the parking lot with a combat shotgun. Fairly unsettling. - No washer and dryer, be prepared to find solutions for washing and drying your clothes. Or risk having them stolen if left unattended in the complex washing rooms. - No AC. Just be prepared to have solutions for heat, or melt throughout the summer. - Maintenance. The maintenance guy straight up told us they dont check the piping, they only fix problems when they arise. I had a pipe burst in my bedroom wall december of 2017 that left me out of a room for over a month, and having to relocate all my personal belongings. They hardly discounted rent for this huge inconvenience and the plumbers hired would eventually smear mud on some of my personal belongings. Water will also be unavailable at random times throughout the year, for no reasons given, for many hours. Overall it was a definite relief to get out of this complex. We eventually upgraded to Sunset Summits which has been life changing. Though it was nice paying cheap rent and living close to Nike/MAX lines, the overall experience was pretty bad and smelly. Would only recommend if you absolutely need a place to live."
