Hilltop Apartments 11855 Southwest Ridgecrest Drive, Beaverton, OR 97008

"1/3/2024 Well, very good news. Over the last week or so many nice improvements have occurred. For now I'll list a few. Since I moved here the breezeway would flood. Hilltop has upgraded the gutter system as well as adding improved drainage. I hope to add a photo of that later. I'm not sure what all I've mentioned but: A few days ago as I left the apartment I found beer cans and what I assume is a vape device. I emailed management over the holidays. When they returned, I got an call asking what they could do. At the time I didn't know. Later I suggested that the cans etc be removed, something I had told them I wasn't concerned with originally, and then I suggested that they not deny me installing a camera doorbell I had purchased again. Immediately they said it was a good idea! My new neighbors moved into a completely renovated apartment. I guess that's too much to ask for. The almost 20 year old carpets were recently cleaned a little. S dryer was replaced. Neither were very good but at least there was some movement. Hopefully more renovations will be done so I can enjoy Hilltop apartments even more. Upgrading the review from 3 to 4 stars. 10/10/2023 Yesterday 2 requests were resolved immediately as well as they are researching a3rd issue. They even may be following up on a complaint I made about mold. Only one star upgrade due to long history of being ignored, 2 to 3 . But credit where credit is due. They were very responsive yesterday. -_---------------------------- Not sure if I'm ready to do this yet, but I've already started. 1. Building 1960s construction. Large crawlspace between dirt and wood floors. Some covered by lenoliam, others rugs. When we moved in, the rugs were thick, beautiful white pile. Almost 20 years later, it's flat, ugly stained, dark. Over the years I got on my hands and knees with special rug spot remover products. Recently after long negotiations, I convinced management to replace the carpet. Their stipulation is I must move all furniture...beds, dressers, tables, chairs, book cases etc. for their rug installers. I explain that while I can do some, as an 80 year old man I can't do it all. Thus, they get to save money until I move out or die. Much more... later †************* 2. Management When we moved in, there was a wonderful onsite manager and I had direct contact with the owners who also built the complex...he was in construction and she (wife) handled the finances. Long after they sold Hilltop, I continued to contact both the original owners and the manager who first 'interviewed' us and accepted our application. Posting 10/2/2023 about experience on 9/30/2023 Here I thought things were going better with Rashay? becoming involved. I may contact her again but for now I need to post the photos of the company on this property, working for the property yet again blocking my carport as they prepare a vacant apartment for new tenancy. Last time I had to yell at them to keep their radio down a couple of times and to move their van so I could park. One would think it was resolved. I have all of the vab information again, licence plate number etc. I don't have the energy to look it up to post now... maybe later. The van looks the same, they're working in the same apartment etc. AND blocking me yet again. Perhaps I will have time to continue the review of over two decades of horror. For now I will only say that IF I were younger, had less stuff and/or enough help I would move. Sadly, I'll most likely die here suffering horrible conditions, construction, management and most living situations. There's a few nice things but they don't begin to make up for the overall experience here. Signing off for now with a heavy heart and a lot of disappointment/sadness."
