"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! So I thought there were pros to this place when I first toured here but MAN WAS I WRONG!!!!! I haven’t been here a whole month yet and I’m already wishing I never moved in. I was told that they take care of the pools and hot tub here I’ve been three times and it’s been closed EVERYTIME. The parking is barely big enough to put a standard size car in the space that comes with your unit. You will be waiting for maintenance to show up for forever they are never on time. There maintenance man treated to put hands on me because I called him out about being an hour late to a work order he scheduled the day prior. They will never answer the office phone and if they do, hope you don’t get Kaitlyn she will hang up on you. They do not respond to voicemails it seems like. They gave my personal information out to a complete stranger before we even moved in. If you have dogs you will never be able to use the poop stations because they are always overflowing. There is NOTHING professional about this place or how they handle tenants. Just know moving here you will be forced to deal with more hassle then it’s worth unless you get Jeff the maintenance guy…he will get you taken care of!"

"I've lived in this apartment complex for about 4 years. I was happy with the customer service and amenities until now. Currently, I have a hole in the ceiling of one of my 2 bedrooms. The hole formed because there is a water leak from the roof. I've submitted multiple maintenance requests and called the office many times, but the issue is still not resolved. I have to keep a bucket under the hole so it doesn't ruin the floor too. The bedroom is uninhabitable, that's how bad the leak/hole is. They didn't even send someone to look at it for several days after I reported the water leak. ETA Every single time I've called the office during business hours, I have to leave a voicemail. Also, previous maintenance requests have not been dealt with very well."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE! The cons heavily outweigh the pros. Every single time my apartment has needed a major repair it’s an absolute nightmare to get fixed. Neighbors are loud. Pool is constantly closed during the summer. My roof has leaked 3 separate times in my bedroom causing a huge inconvenience (and they never once offered to give me a rent decrease even though it was a lease violation on their part). The last time it leaked it took over 5 months to get fixed. Parking is terrible. Numerous times I’ve smelled weed. The shower is extremely creaky, floors are creaky and my fridge is an antique. My dishwasher looks like it’s from the 90s and smells like sewage every time I run it. The list goes on and on and on. They advertise their apartments as luxury with high end finishes and they are anything but that. They use the cheapest materials possible and still increase your rent year after year. My time here has not been positive."

"I am a 60 y/o with failing knees although the grounds tour was nice, it would have perfect if the golf cart(s) were operational. My knees and my hips are unfortunately fading, which is why I am looking for an apartment with few to no stairs in front of the unit. I wish to have my final living unit, Long Term, Many years and I live alone should have very few residential problems. I am ecstatic with the site, especially the indoor pool and Jacuzzi/spa that could be available. MonteVista is at the top of my list."

"Older buildings but they’ve been working to update and fix them up. I love living here. Great location by Progress Ridge and the power line trail. Good amenities. Walls are thin but the overall atmosphere is quiet."
