"Came out and got me started up, his tool wasn't working so I was "referred" to a mechanic to test my alternator. All he had to do was put a probe from a voltmeter on the copper in the alternator then ground it to see if it was in the range of 13.6v-14.6v.. He did tell me a good tip about diagnosing a voltage regulator in my alternator though."

After waiting 90 minutes, >30 mins over the ETA, I called AAA and was told the primary service provider transferred the call to a secondary service provider with no ETA. I secured an alternative means to get my car going. I pay $200/yr for this privilege. Maybe I'll find an alternative next year. (Update) Ending membership. Going with GoodSam. Why pay $200/yr for Car/RV roadside assistance that never comes? I may as well call towing myself! (Update#2) Yeah, AAA called me a week after the incident to offer their condolences, but no offers.
