Our Sweet Retreat

"This property is amazing and unlike any vacation rental we have stayed in because of the attention to detail and offerings in each room and corner of this updated, unique farmhouse. We stayed here with extended family to celebrate a graduation. Our family was able to relax together in the indoor and outdoor spaces of the home. Also, we were able to prepare and cook meals easily due to an incredibly well-equipped kitchen. The open floor plan between the kitchen, living and dining room was a favorite feature as it provided a central space to gather for eating, conversation, or games. The hosts of this property made us feel welcome (and spoiled) with local treats like baked goods, farm fresh eggs, wine and even a little charcuterie box set out for us upon arrival. Each bedroom was comfortably set up with beautiful linens and thoughtful touches like lotion and ear plugs. The extra studio that sets detached from the house was a perfect spot for our older teenager to sleep and feel like he had his own space to relax in. We would recommend Our Sweet Retreat to anyone staying in the greater Portland area, you won’t be disappointed."

"This stunning farmhouse in Wilsonville, Oregon was a perfect place to make family memories for my daughter's wedding. Her Venue was close by at Langdon Farms, so it was a 6-minute drive to the location. This made it perfect for our family for the rehearsal dinner and the wedding the next day. As the mother of The Bride and runner, there was a perfect trail to the north, just down the street that amazing to get out on and relax. This area simply has everything needed with grocery stores and restaurants just down the street to a mall not far off the freeway. The home is so charming with all amenities you need for your stay. The beds comfortable and I loved all the baskets of cozy blankets to snuggle up with on the couch and watch movies. But I think my favorite part was the game Amore upstairs. In the evening we played all the games and had lots of laughs. It was such a perfect time for our family. And this home made us feel like we were at home! The owners thought of everything, from the welcome local treats of farm fresh eggs and bottle of wine to the call upon our arrival to be sure we didn't need anything. This was a trip we will never forget! And honestly the best vacation home we have ever stayed in! This place, location and everything about it is a 10 out of 10!"

"I was lucky to stay in this incredible home about a month ago. I felt like I had teleported from the Portland area to a remote, high end farm house somewhere in old Americana. There wasn’t a single thing missing and instead had features I will now obsessively plan for my own home. Honestly, it belongs on HGTV. I was comfortable, safe, happy, and forlorn that I had to leave. I highly recommend this stay to everyone, especially for weddings, girls retreats, family trips, writing treats, and other special events. It’s a gem."

"5 Stars is not a high enough rating to describe this beautiful and beautifully equipped home. Because we have family all over the country, we rent many homes through VRBO and other such sites. "Our Sweet Retreat" is by far the cleanest, most user-friendly, well equipped home in which we have ever stayed. The set-up (including the separate loft) was family friendly and had all the amenities and more that you would expect. Most impressively, the kitchen and cooking supplies (glasses, plates, silverware, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils) were amazing. Unlike most of our previous short-term rentals, my wife and I had everything and more we needed to host our kids and grandkids for a fabulous Thanksgiving feast. To make the experience even more amazing, the few minor questions we had were immediately addressed by Noelle and/or her husband - who were both always available, friendly, and helpful. On a scale of 1 to 10 this house is a 12+ - we can and will plan on staying at "Our Sweet Retreat" as often as we can!!"
