"I don’t usually do reviews, but I am so unhappy with this terrible complex. They have been sketchy and do not care for the safety of their own residents. To start, parking is awful! You aren’t guaranteed a spot unless you pay $60 a month for one, or $120 a month for a garage spot. So we utilized the regular parking and often could not find a spot. One time we had to park at The Springs retirement home directly next to it, as there was no parking. There are constantly people parking terribly and in handicap spots and management does not do anything about it. The landscaping is kept up, I never failed to find dog feces, decorative rocks and excessive mud on the sidewalk to the point you had to jump over the mud. Some of my neighbors are elderly, and probably can’t jump over a pile of mud. The apartments themselves are very nice and updated, with mostly new appliances and updated cupboards and things. We really didn’t have any maintenance issues aside from when we were moving out. The day after we moved from HAC to our new home, I received a phone call from one of the management people. She got on the phone with me from a blocked number and reported that the neighbors below us are suffering from a water leak, which turned out to be the roof damaged from the ice storm, allowing water into the walls. On the phone she goes “what’s going on? Did you guys spill something?” I was appalled at the accusatory tone she used with me. We had no idea that it happened, considering we were 98% MOVED OUT. Our lease was not up for a few weeks. She relayed that contractors would be in the house fixing the wall and damage. (Which they didn’t fix the actual leak, just the wall.) Since it was January, it was really cold and getting into freezing temperatures, so we left the thermostat on and the water at a slow drip to prevent bursting the pipes. Mind you, we were not stopping by everyday as we had moved and just had a couple things to swing by and get. Prior to this, I called the office and let them know we are not occupying the premise and the heaters are on, so please let the construction crew know to not leave anything in front of them. One day I came by to check on things. I walked in and immediately saw a bunch of tools sprawled around the dining room. There was a large bag of dust from cleanup and repair, left just to the side of a heater that was faulty and turning on by itself (the apartments were informed of this). The other heater in the dining room had a cardboard box to a shop vac covered in dust, in front of the heater. This happened not once but THREE SEPARATE TIMES! Each time we called the apartments and reported it. The construction people and the apartment complex were negligent and did not seem to care! Since no one was home, that could have caused a lot of damage to our apartment, as well as apartments around us, putting people in danger like our neighbors’ newborn, nearby neighbors and their pets. Since they used a lot of electricity to run industrial fans in the house, our electricity bill was through the roof. We requested HAC to compensate, as this is maintenance to THEIR building and we aren’t using this electricity, THEY are. They agreed and had us send in our last three statements and stated they would pay half of the average of them, and they would be combined with the deposit check they are mailing to us. We received the check, with no compensation for the electricity. My fiancé called numerous times during open hours to connect with someone and figure out what was going on, with the phone always ringing to voicemail. He also left numerous messages regarding the compensation, they were ALL ignored. He finally had to go in today to physically talk to someone because they flat out refuse to hold up their end of a simple promise. This place is also INCREDIBLY overpriced, they make you pay $25 a month on top of waste for “vallet” trash service for them to literally not pick up your trash a quarter of the time. If you’re looking for a true “Haven”, this is not it."

"Lived here for a year, besides the horrible parking situation the apartments are nice. When they were doing repairs to our apartment and it was unoccupied due to water damage they set heaters and dehumidifiers up during the remediation. During that time we came in 3 times to check on things and had paper products put within touching distance of heaters on full blast, multiple times across multiple heaters. I communicated how big of a fire risk this was, and had the same issue 3 times. The electricity bill was so high from all that stuff running that I contacted them to ask if they would be able to pay for the large increase since we were not there at the time, if they could pay the difference in average since it was apartment and contractor using the electricity. I was told that would be fine, it has been 2 months and have yet to get a call back or information regarding what is happening, with the office assistant letting me know he has sent the information mulltiple times but has yet to get a response. Overall nice apartments with bad parking and even worse in trying to get any issues resolved."

"This review is based on our tour only. We do not live here at this time. Eduardo was an amazing host. He was friendly, welcoming, and answered any questions we had. We hope he will follow through in communicating when a unit will open up for us to apply. (: It was a small and cute community, very quiet. It seems peaceful!"

"Haven has been my favorite apartment I have lived in! Maintenance is always so quick to fix any issues. Management really cares about their residents and the property. They have updated the siding, garages, and much more in the time they have been here. All the neighbors are friendly, especially the wildlife ones"

"This place tells you parking is great when you move in then after you move in you find out there's next to no parking ever and start tagging and towing you for parking in anything thats left. Just so they can force high price paid parking. They have been through 6 managers that I know of and one was hired and less then 30 days later is gone already. Cars get broken into and stolen from the parking lots daily."
