"This was my first time having acupuncture and it was such a great experience! I felt comfortable and cared for, and it helped my body relax even while 9 months pregnant. Highly recommend to anyone considering trying acupuncture!"
"I was amazed at the comprehensive treatment, including herbal medicine (the first set of herbs was given to me for free) and functional medicine, where lab tests were provided at cost and then explained in easily understandable language. The acupuncture was gentle and I was informed that any painful point could be removed if I cpuldnt tolerate it. This was a huge difference compared to previous acupuncture places which didnt seem to care. I highly reccomend the services."
"I have been going to Alex for some time now. He has helped me with a range of ailments. From the numbness I was having in my fingers after an accident to random muscle issues and headaches. He is extremely professional, a great listener, and I have success with every visit. I have recommended him to many of my friends."
"Highly recommended! My treatment with Corvallis Acupuncture and Functional Medicine has, without exaggeration, completely saved my life. After a debilitating climbing accident I’ve been suffering chronic back pain for twenty years, never believing I could go a day without sciatica and nerve spasms all down my legs. Alex was able to get me moving and loving my life again without drugs and avoiding more surgery. The best part though is how he treats the entire body so that everything else that my back was affecting is now without pain and stiffness, a return to total range of motion. He has been incredibly conscientious of my physical and emotional condition, respectful of my limitations, and always there for me. He is the highest order of a professional and a master of his craft."
"Beware. I was looking for a cranial sacral therapist and acupuncturist and he fell under my network benefits. When you reach out to him his voicemail says to text him a picture of your insurance card with your birth date before you even talk to him on the phone. In hindsight I should have never done this. Then it shows that his building is closed and they've moved so that's confusing. When I tried to call him to clarify he texted me saying he was with his daughter and he couldn't talk on the phone. Weird. I did get clarification from the building owner that he was a legitimate practitioner and that the other business had moved out of the office so I continued on with the appointment. When I arrived to my appointment, which was 45 minutes away, he tried to push me into paying cash saying that my insurance would only cover a few visits and eventually I would have to pay out of pocket. He wanted me to sign some paperwork saying that I would pay out of pocket whatever was not covered. This was completely incorrect because I had already verified with my insurance. He was in network I had 12 visits and only a copay of $20. I suggested that we go ahead and call my insurance company to verify. After he already told me his receptionist would be coming out in a couple minutes he then said he didn't have the receptionist in the office to call. So I suggested I call on my phone. He didn't like that and said I was pushing his boundaries. Something is super sketchy about this practice. Thankfully I didn't sign any paperwork. I drove the 45 minutes home. I called my insurance and clarified and yes I was correct, he was in network I had 12 visits, and only had a copay. I do not recommend Alexander Diaz. I don't know if it's insurance fraud or ignorance, but something's off."
