"They took the time and "really"listened, then included me in the decision making. I actually had a follow-up in 2 days which led to minor tweaks to my care. Progress was made and I am going back for one more consultation to make sure everything is on track. I'm impressed!"
"Don’t even bother showing up within the last hour before they close. They can just decide at any moment they aren’t taking patients and you will have wasted a trip. Being denied care has never happened to me before at any hospital during their open hours and I don’t think I will return if that’s how they care for our community. Edit: Maybe have one more doctor on staff? That’s why you turned multiple people away? I read in the comments two months ago you were hiring a second doctor, what happened to that? Maybe you should update your hours so that way you close at 4 but pay the doctor until 5 like literally all other jobs do so you can provide for your community? Unacceptable service. I went to A REAL urgent care and was finished in 20 minutes…. It is a disgrace this is attached to our city hospital. Is that what the rest of the hospital is like?"
"I got triaged by a nurse that informed me I have a kidney stone probably because my left lower pelvic/abdominal pain in the front was causing some mild referred pain in the back and I had mild nausea which is not a kidney stone. Honestly this clinic is the straw that broke the camel's back I am switching from Corvallis clinic to Samaritan. I'm not sure where the nurse went to school but could use a refresher on anatomy. She also was talking to the receptionist before she spoke to me about how "this person picked the wrong day..." if you don't want to do your job fine. I wouldn't take my family there."
"DO NOT GO HERE. I’m only giving one star because 0 stars is not an option. I went there two days ago for severe ptsd related panic attacks and nausea that had been plaguing me for over 24 straight hours at that point. After suffering in line for at least an hour, the receptionist said she’d have to make sure that I was even “able to be seen here.” The male nurse who saw me first was kind, but explained to me that they “do not see mental health cases here.” I was furious and began to panic again. He talked to the doctors who told him that they refused to see me because of the “types of drugs required to treat these types of illnesses.” The nurse actually told me I should try Benedryl or Melatonin. I was insulted to say the least. The fact that nobody had any mental health training at an URGENT CARE center is APPALLING and UNACCEPTABLE. To add insult to injury, they sent me to the WRONG mental health crisis center- it was the old address. I was on a wild goose chase, eventually ending up in the ER, which also was very poorly equipped to treat my condition. I am angry, disgusted, and depressed at the lack of mental health care in this city."
