"Very helpful and understanding!! Thank you for everything"
"This office does not do what is described and is a waste of federal and state tax contributions."
"The wait time wasn't too bad - friendly workers at front desk."
"Had a benefit renewal phone interview 9/8 they never called me for. I called them later the same day and was told no one was available to help me. So I scheduled another phone interview for 9/11 but I also called the hotline based on advice from the guy who scheduled my second appointment because he said I may get helped sooner that way. Wrong, I spent OVER 2 hours waiting, their hotline closed and never picked up the phone. 9/11 rolled around and AGAIN they failed to call me for my appointment?! They’re now threatening to discontinue my SNAP due to THEIR errors. I have to wonder why these people getting paid when they won’t do their jobs and why am I punished for their mistakes. This is disgusting abuse of privilege. Shame on DHS Albany!"
"When my mother went on Medicaid DHS would not allow me to inherit my mom's home when she was alive I was on Social Security disability. DHS told me I had to live in her home 2 years prior to her going on Medicaid. When my mom passed I found out through the estate Administration unit that I could have legally had mom put her home and my name. Because I was drawing on Social Security disability."
