"Absolutely do not rent here. Not transparent about additional charges related to rental. Charged a recovery fee when there was no work done on there part to recover the vehicle. Extremely smug about explaining it. Parting words from them were “you can always get your own sled”. Definitely will not be returning nor recommending to others."
"We stayed in our van as we travelled from Sandpoint ID to Eugene OR. We stopped at the campsite for the night and enjoyed a lovely shower in the AM. Nice folks that run the place."
"The Albany/Corvallis KOA is a nice campground, but it has a few drawbacks. It is located about 10 minutes off the I-5 freeway, so it's not super close, but it's acceptable. There is minor road noise, as it is located off a two-lane highway. The campground's pull-throughs are gravel, but they are narrow and shorter than most KOAs in the middle of nowhere. The camping sites are nice, but they have little tree coverage, if any, and most of the grass at the sites is dead. The park has a pool, which was almost full, and a mini-golf course from the 80s, which was a bit dangerous due to the hornets. The entire park has a hornet problem, which will likely upset your flavored beverage or dinner. Overall, the Albany/Corvallis KOA is a nice campground, but it's important to be aware of the drawbacks before you book your stay. Here is a more detailed breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: Clean and well-maintained campground Friendly staff Nice pool Mini-golf course Cons: Located a few miles off the freeway, so it's not super close Minor road noise Narrow and short pull-throughs Little tree coverage Hornet problem Overall: The Albany/Corvallis KOA is a nice campground, but it's important to be aware of the drawbacks before you book your stay. The campground is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. The pool is a nice feature, and the mini-golf course is a fun activity for families. However, the campground is located off the freeway, so it's not super close, and there is minor road noise. The pull-throughs are narrow and short, and the camping sites have little tree coverage. The entire park has a hornet problem, which can be a nuisance. If you are looking for a campground that is close to the freeway and has a lot of amenities, then the Albany/Corvallis KOA is a good option. However, if you are looking for a campground that is more secluded and has more tree coverage, then you may want to consider another campground."
"Not a bad KOA. Staff was friendly and helpful. Sites were not to bad. Level and easy access for the hook up's. Pool was small, but clean. Lot's of kiddos. But that's too be expected. Bathroom's could use a good cleaning and a little updating. But serviceable. Dog park was a little rough. Nice walking trail down near the creek that would be very pretty in the spring early summer. Little road noise if your outside. Most folks were very friendly. Had a few people that seemed to be staying for an extended period and they were less then desirable. All in all we would stay again as it is close to family..."
"This KOA has to have the nicest staff I’ve ever met. I rolled in with a very unfortunate and broken camper, stopping out of necessity. The staff was super accommodating and kind. They even helped me find local businesses that could help with camper repairs. I genuinely appreciate their kindness, it went a long way. The facilities were also very clean and the sites were well maintained."
