"Timber Linn Memorial Park is a lovely park in Albany, Oregon. It is a large park with plenty of picnic tables, pavilion, sports fields, dog parks, walking trail, small lake, memorial, and much more. It is always clean when I visit, and I've never felt unsafe. The memorial is a beautiful tribute. I am grateful that they created an area to honor and remember them. Timber Linn Park is a place that allows you to connect with nature within the city. There is an amazing number of ducks in the small lake. The ducks will usually greet you upon arrival as they are generally fed by people in the community. I absolutely love watching the ducks while they are feasting on the goodies left for them. I've never used the dog parks as I don't normally allow my dogs to play in an enclosed dog park at this time due to various reasons, but I always notice the numerous dog owners and their pups interacting in the park. It looks clean and inviting from a distance. I recommend the Timber Linn Memorial Park. They offer events throughout the year, and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot air balloon festival. That was an experience I'll never forget!"
"What a great find for me and the fam and itβs covered!!! Super excited for this. Safe / Clean and open !!"
"I have been coming to this park for nearly two decades and love it just as much as an adult as I did when I was a small child. Just yesterday I spent 3 or so hours on a blanket just enjoying the breeze and sun while working on my puzzles and writing. The park is big enough that everyone can enjoy it and find a corner for some quiet. Note to visitors: if you are going to feed the ducks and geese, bread is very difficult for them to digest. Peas or grapes are a much better alternative, and they will gobble them right up."
"Great place to see River Rhythms music events in the summertime. With food trucks, sponsor booths, ice cream, and blessed shade. Bring a chair. No animals allowed. Kids welcome."
