"I ordered a couple cases of wine on a visit about 6 years ago. Since then, they (and their winery partners) send 2-3 emails per week, despite several unsubscribe attempts. Sure it all just goes to spam, but it's annoying and really sours the otherwise good memory of my visit. Not very professional marketing behavior."

"This has a new name, new ownership. It is now The Great Oregon Wine Company and Distillery. Some wines are still under the Duck Pond name, others are TGOWC and still others are Ransom wines. They also make bourbon, gin, etc. We love the staff and the wines especially for the value you get. We stop here on our way to and from the coast and always look forward to it. They have several award-winning wines that are reasonably priced."

"The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to give our small group an excellent experience, including a spontaneous tour of the vineyard and winery. We tasted wines and spirits, played corn hole, fed the koi fish, and nibbled on crackers with local honey-drizzled fromage blanc and hazelnuts at our table out on the lawn. I especially enjoyed the Umpqua Reserve 2017 Chardonnay and the Willow Creek Vineyard 2016 Pinot Noir 115 clone. So many wineries around this area are getting to be so snooty and full of themselves, which makes the understated and humble Duck Pond Cellars such a welcome breath of fresh air."
