"Staff were nice. Rooms are older, bed frames need a upgrade they move every time you move. Pool was great nice view great breakfast."

"This hotel was super expensive compared to others in the area, they said due to demand. Biggest complaint was that all lights in the room were aged out compact fluorescent bulbs. The lights we about as bright as candles in a castle. There was a balcony with a view of the Umpqua River and an outdoor hot tub."

"Terribly run down and a bit seedy. The room had broken lamp shades, desk chair a cheapie that didn't fit under the desk. Door did not open and close very well, peeling paint and wallpaper. Burn marks on bathroom countertop, broken/cracked sink. Bathroom door with peeling paint and saggy. Drug across the floor which was sticky. Not a great room, feeling ripped off as over a hundred for it. Front desk clerk was very pleasant and efficient . Did not eat the breakfast, didn’t trust that the food would be good since no pride in facility. Holiday Inn Hood River the week before was a much much cleaner and very well maintained"

"Stayed 3 nights, 2 different rooms for the five of us. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful and hardworking. Whether they were behind the counter, breakfast bar, housekeeping everyone was great. Location is at busy offramp of the 5 but the Riverview really was great. Walked to Toppit once, very convenient. There was a bit of discrepancy in the 2 rooms. The double queen my daughter was in could have used a little updating. If staying in Roseburg i would definitely recommend."
