Super 8 by Wyndham Roseburg

"I've stayed at this location twice so far and plan on staying again. The rooms are pretty nice for what you pay for; I've always had them clean and ready upon check-in. Some of the furniture is a little worn but that's just part of the room renting gig. I have never participated in the breakfast so I can't comment on that. The gas station next-door really makes this location ideal, fuel-ups for trips and food for your stay. I read from some reviewers that they have a $200 cash deposit, I've never encountered this or have had to put down any deposit on either occasion. The only downside I've found to this location are my fellow hotel patrons. I suppose I could file this under some sort of property management issues, but it is what it is; it's a hotel Afterall. Issues I've encountered: A VERY large family, maybe 30+ staying in three adjacent rooms with the doors always open passing back and forth clearly intoxicated while playing mariachi music as loud as humanly possible. I once passed by one of the rooms and an older lady was frying tortillas on an open flame cooking stove with actual oil bubbling away. Last time I had a few VERY intoxicated individuals try to repeatedly break into my room, adamant that it was theirs. Lastly, marijuana. Personally, I hate the stuff, but I don't care if someone uses it, it's their choice. However, being forced to smell that stuff at all times in the hotel hallways is pretty toxic. I've had experience like these in maaaaaaaany hotels so it's not location specific but be for warned, there's usually a pretty rough crowd staying here. Park close to the entrance and lock your car."

"Squeaky clean rooms, comfy bed. Staff is very efficient, caring, very friendly & helpful. Location is right off I-5 - super convenient, but you cannot hear any traffic from the room. Breakfast was "meh". King room includes desk & chair, dresser, microwave, safe, hair dryer, coffee maker, bedside tables with 2 electric outlets each which was great for charging & CPAP in 1 location. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!"

"This place was alright. A little spendy for what it was though. Pros- friendly service, clean room, good pillows, great channel line up, yummy bagels and juice for breakfast (until 9), heat and AC in the room, microwave (ours was missing the round piece that balances the glass plate), fridge, coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion provided. Cons- the beds are not that great, Super thin sheets, smells like smoke in the hallway, the pool and especially the hot tub needs to be cleaned... lots of floaties and someone's fake nails in there floating around.. could use some good maintenance."

"I was pleasantly surprised. Although the last few times I stayed at a Super 8 it was better than I thought it would be. The staff here was super helpful to accommodate my night shift schedule. The room was clean and recently updated. My only complaint was a slight, weird smell. I'm not sure what it was, but it went away by turning the AC on to circulate the air. I will stay here again when in the area."

"When I checked in for my room, it was quick and simple, but anytime else I had to wait for a while or call the hotel to have someone come to the desk to assist me; here is an example, the time when my room key wouldn't work and I needed them to fix it. The room itself was nice and clean but the shower has low water pressure. The pool and hot tub were very relaxing to use during the hot day. The breakfast selection was simple yet filling. This Super 8 hotel is conveniently located next to a gas station, mini store, and Interstate five."
