"When I purchased my vehicle from a dealership the car wasn't running very good. I took it back to dealer who said my clutch was bad, then sent it to Thomason for repair. After 2 months I received my car back and upon startup it vibrated very badly, the selling dealer said new parts need broken in... Later that night while driving it, the car had a squeal while in motion so I took it back to seller, they said Thomason bent a heat shield and so they fixed it. I finally called some time later and explained the vibration and they said they would look at it under parts warranty as it didn't start until after they "fixed" it. I got a call the next day saying my motor mounts were bad, then charged me $120 for a diagnostic fee, no explanation ahead of time, nothing saying that if it wasn't their repair I would be charged. I got the mounts fixed at my regular mechanic and it still vibrates, so I called again and said that after their recommended repair there still is an issue, and that there was a recall on door latches that they ordered at the first visit, and they were going to address. he said that if the vibration didn't have anything to do with thier repairs I would need to pay $180 (!!!) per hour for diagnostic! After looking at all repairs done to the car it was discovered they didn't even fix my original problem, just fixed enough to keep the car from stalling. I can't find out if it was their mistake or not because they won't look at it at all without $180 authorization. I said to just do door latches as they were recalled, they kept my car for the weekend with no communication, then I call on Monday and he informs me that the website for recalls is down, and I can come get my car. I picked it up and they said if they can get onto site that I can bring it back to be fixed, then they call today to say that even though they ordered the parts already, and confirmed the recall, that my car doesn't need it, yet I get emails for this recall every 6 months! To add to it, my car was very hard to start today, so I went to check terminals and my washer fluid hoses were broken. I do not know that the last issue was from them, but it is a coincidence that they worked up until then. Needless to say I will never bring my car to them again, and if I get another recall email I will go to another dealer."
"My 2023 Ford is receiving a replacement windshield after getting an oil change at Thomason Ford. The service department refuses to take responsibility for six deep scratches discovered during the ride home. Hell, the manager didn't even look at them. Mistakes happen, I get it! But good businesses own up to them and offer to make things right. Avoid taking your vehicle here, or carry comprehensive with a glass policy. My coverage just paid for itself."
