I nosed through the flies...put some in a cup...got overcharged, but the kicker was when the "guide" looked at me..."i'll be right with ya, I have to take this call from a CLIENT." I'm sure you are fantastic at putting your clients on fish. What I have learned in being an owner/operator, is that marketing and advertising cost too much, so a new client standing in front of me is worth 4x an existing client...dude, you could have called your "client" back...yes? Anyone can catch fish in a smokie haze from wildfires but guides make it an experience...for better or for worse. Sorry we never got the chance."
