"Meet Carol Waxham and Thomas Medlin, the accommodating faces of Raincoast Arts Gallery. Carol is displaying some of the gallery's finery while getting into the spirit of the season. Finally, Carol displays one of her latest collages, "Song Circles". The imagery is stunning. I NEED to buy this!"
"Stopped here this afternoon. This place is filthy dirty, the smell of the gallery is absolutely awful, we looked at everything through the store, the worst of all is a lady sitting at the register counter to the back of the store and a man standing there, I said hello to the two of them, the lady just sat there and did not acknowledge me and the man just nodded his head, no smile just nothing. This is the rudest business I have ever been in. As we live here in Oregon, and own a business in Florence oregon. I would never recommend this place to shop EVER. I give this place one star as I had to but this place isn't even worth 0 stars. I know how business works and this place should not even be operating. It reminded me of a murder movie inside this place."
"What a great place! Quirky fun stuff from local artists. Well worth the stop. The owners were charming and helpful. I'd stopped in to have an old knife sharpened but ended up buying a few items. He did a great job on the knife, which I thought was unsalvageable."
"Wonderful old building in a great location! Easy to find, easy to park, and very easy to shop! Full of loads of treasures.....something for everyone and all handmade......the Celtic jewelry is beautiful.....the woven fabrics are brilliant and if you are lucky the weaver herself will be there and working on her loom......a gallery not to be missed!"
"I love this place. It is a lovely gallery with lots of things to look at. Prices start at $1 so everyone can afford a souvenir from the coast. They have everything from jewellery to art to handmade fabrics! A must see on your coast trip!"
