"When I initially called to get an estimate, the woman who finally answered did so by saying (in a flat voice) "Hello". I asked if they were an upholstery shop, at which point she said "yes" ( but not sounding friendly, as one would normally speak to a potential customer). I asked her if there was an issue, she said she thought I was a phone scammer due to my Las Vegas phone number. At no point was she apologetic in regards to her assumption of my character, even after she realized that I was local. People have phone numbers from all over these days, I don't understand why she felt the need to act like I was some kind of nefarious person over my 702 number... But ok, I moved on, because I wanted a quote. I was instructed to email pictures of what I wanted to reupholster; in this case I sent 2 pictures, 1 picture of a couch and another picture of a chair. On this couch and chair were a total of 3 seat cushions and 9 back pillows of various sizes (which was all that I wanted reupholstered, the main structure of the couch is leather and nice so the quote was to ONLY be for the 3 seat cushions and 9 back pillows, reusing the foam). In my email I was clear in saying that I wanted the seat cushions and back pillows reupholstered (all 3 seat cushions and all 9 back pillows were clearly pictured in the photos). A week or so later I went into the store to discuss fabrics... and discovered that the $900 labor quote they gave me was for 3 seat cushions and 2 back pillows ONLY. I was told that if I want ALL pillows re-done, the quote didn't cover them all, there would be an *additional charge* for the other *7* pillows (pictured, but) not accounted for in their quote. Like why would I only want TWO back pillows done, when there are a total of NINE that were pictured (all of which came with the set) and are necessary for the aesthetics/back support/ comfort of the couch/chair set? This feels very much like a "bait and switch" situation; they got me into their store with a lower price only to tell me it would be *more* to get the total work done (that I had asked for when I requested the quote). What a waste of time. At minimum these people are unfriendly, unapologetic when they are wrong and if you ask me, I wouldn't trust any quote they might give you."
