"I'm brand new in Salem, and decided to give Perfect Look a try since it's in my neighborhood. I made an appointment with Chelsea based on the positive reviews, used the online scheduling system and was looking forward to the experience. I arrived on time and waited while the one person cutting hair finished with her client. I was not greeted when I came in, but was eventually informed that Chelsea had gone home for the day. I did not receive a call (my number was in the system) or offered a chance to reschedule. I think I may have dodged a bullet. The salon was shabby, the one person who had showed up to work looked tired and unhappy, and when she offered to get to me after her next client, I said "no thank you" and left. How difficult would it have been for Chelsea (or anyone) to text or call me ahead of time? Thankfully, there are plenty of salons in town, presumably with better atmospheres, stylists and business practices."

"Josie was so friendly and personable. She absolutely made me feel comfortable and at home, plus she did a fantastic job and gave me several choices to help steer how my look would go! Absolutely will be returning!"

"My 16 year old daughter had her hair bleached at the roots no color and had a trim the stylist charged her 150 for that, all though she was quoted 65 for The bleach over the phone. I signed a consent form but didn't stay while it was being done because the price was already talked about with my daughter, and I didn't think I'd have to worry about something like this we never have had to any where else, and she was going to add the trim on top of it. When I heard the price they charged her I called the salon, The stylist lied tried to tell me that she told my daughter before they started her hair that it would be 150 ( my daughter has had her hair done many times And wouldn't of agreed and would of went somewhere else) she also told her coworker that the price was on the form before I signed it which was another absolute lie, I would never have agreed to that. The fact that the stylist saw a young girl by herself and decided to take advantage of my kid and charge her way more then what was spoken about is absolutely disgusting, I would understand if it were 20-40 but 85 is an apparent scam. Definitely going to be making a complaint with BBB. Becareful with this place they obviously have no problem taking advantage of underage clients without an adult present for the entire service. We Shouldn't have to worry about kids being taken advantage of when getting any type of service but we definitely learned a lesson this time"

I was very concerned about going to Perfect Look after a chopped cut to my curly hair. Samantha changed my mind and I wouldn’t go anywhere else now. She is the best there is."
