Dollar General 111 South 72nd Street, Springfield, OR 97478

"Went there for MANY items needed, especially St.Patricks Day items,,,,, they had none! Manager said " no Dollar General or Dollar Tree stores have any of this stuff" ..SHE LIED!!!! I went 3 miles up the road to DOLLAR TREE off Olympic in Springfield and they had EVERYTHING!!! ALL for $1.25 each NOT $3.50 each item (or more) what a ....LOOSER STORE, never going back!!"

"I Love the new location on South 72nd in Springfield! The store is so clean, is well organized and well stocked!!! The two gentlemen that were working last night were so friendly and so helpful to me. Not only did I find what I was looking for, a particular Christmas decoration that the Eugene store was out of, but I found my cinnamon broom!! Even though this location is clear across town from where I live, I prefer shopping at the Thurston location. And, I'm pleasantly surprised that the items I use (bath soap, etc.) are available at a Dollar General:)"

"I just walked in dollar general and was looking for a item and when I was leaving because they didn't have it the manager Dustin said " hope you enjoy what's in your pockets " .. accused me of stealing from the store..so I turned my pockets and he apologized.. so embarrassing"

"835 pm today we went in and asked where something was, looked and they were out. We asked the cashier if they had any more in the back and left. As we were walking out Dustin acusses my boyfriend of stealing. We turned our pockets out and showed him, while he did apologize, why did he ask the only black man? We weren't acting suspicious. Racial profiling"

"Its hirer priced than stores in town, like winco and walmart, but its on the edge of town and is cheaper than a convient store. Their selection has many odds and ends that could save you a trip to town. Its feels like a cross between a bimart type store and 711. They do have some items for 1$."
