"It's fine, but $16 for basic beef with sweet sauce and rice is ridiculous. For that price you can get a delicious meal with several types of meat in a wonderful broth with an egg, pork belly and noodles at a hundred other places for the same price. It's a $9 meal. Maybe."
"This place you can get a quality bento. Portions little small (maybe just when I came). Veggies meh and rice was just ok but the chicken was the star. Definitely mom and pop with the Christian quote from Samuel in Korean. Good extended menu with more than most teriyaki. Curry chicken and Bibimbap being the high point on the menu for sure. Offering kimchi and some other cold sides would really elevate the place but perhaps normal clients did not ask. Definitely worth stopping in."
"I've been coming here for years; they make what I think is the best spicy teriyaki chicken in Portland. Most places just dump hot sauce in their teriyaki, but not Bentoz. They have a separate recipe for their spicy chicken with its own distinct flavors. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed."
