"My family and I have been going here off and on for a few years, my wife especially has always liked it. Last Night all that changed, we went there to celebrate my sons 28th Birthday, they now have a piano, a customer decided to play it and although he played well, it was very loud, we could not talk, the lady in the table next to us had her fingers in her ears. When I said something to the waitress she said its only for one song, 3 songs later he finished, I yelled out that he played well but should use the mute pedal, it allows them to play the same but lowers the volume. The owner, yes it was the owner came over and told me I was being rude. The piano player then sat down with his girl friend and started swapping spit with her. No I am not a prude I just think a family restaurant is not the place for people making out in a booth. But I was the rude one. The owner gave him some tokens and thanked him for playing. Anyway my take away from this is I guess it is no longer a family place, I suggest you do not go there if you have young children, or wish to have a nice dinner and converse with your guests. "Went during dinner time and the waiter talked us into the special. I normally get fish and chips or a classic chicken burger, but I went with ribs, mash potatoes, buttery carrots with a side of Cesar salad. Delicious! The bread bowl was also excellent. Elegant place to dine in. Right in the center of Prosser. 100% recommend, great job Prosser House!"
"The service here was fantastic, friendly and fast without being intrusive. The atmosphere was homey, clean, & welcoming. The cocktails were well balanced. Where they lost a star was the food unfortunately. Whilst it was visually appealing, it was sadly very bland. Everyone in my party had to add way more salt and pepper than I typically have to in a restaurant. The orzo, mashed potatoes, and fried zucchini didn't taste to have been salted at all (I'm sure they were, but not nearly enough compared to other restaurants I enjoy). The crust to the cheesecake was also super soggy. Maybe some like that, I did not. I might try here again sometime to see if our meal was a fluke. Based on the high reviews I expected better- and since this was a celebration dinner, it was a particular let down."
"Fantastic eatery featuring unique takes on American classics. The service is fast and friendly. The patio is dog friendly. Excellent selection of cocktails. Great place to grab a bite after visiting wineries."
