"Me and my husband just stopped by there because we know the food is delicious, yes it was a bit busy, we did get out because we're in a u-haul. We where looking at the window at the menu. After deciding on what we wanted. We sat down , to wait our turn. I would not mind waiting 20 mins because of the great quality of food I will get to enjoy. But not even 5 mins of sitting and the blonde hair girl doent say, hi , I will be with you shortly. With her face saying ughh not another person. she just slams the window. so definitely poor service. Yeah the time is 12:11 p.m. and it's a beautiful Saturday."
"My son and I ate at the NW 6th and D location where you can sit down. Our first time and we loved it. You order at the counter then sit and they bring your food. The woman working the counter was busy, doing all the front house work herself. She was attentive, friendly and a good communicator all the while working with admirable grace under pressure. Having waited tables for years and knowing how hard it can be I was impressed. The food was great as was the coffee, servings were generous, served quickly and they had a gluten free option for my boy. They are worthy of the 5 stars."
"This morning I got the Chavez breakfast burrito with bacon. It has eggs, beef sausage, cheese & house sauce in it. When I got to work I decided to cut the burrito in half because it was a big burrito. When I cut it the sausage inside was pink. I called them to let them know and was told “yeah. It’s supposed to be pink. We can cook it for 30 minutes and it would still be pink.” I went back on my lunch break to show them the burrito and get a refund. I was greeted with, “oh, you’re the girl with the burrito. Do you want us to make you a new one?” When I said no thank you and asked for a refund she handed me cash and told me to have a good day. They didn’t want to see the burrito and had me throw it away in the trash can. I did not receive an apology or even talk to a manager even though I could have gotten food poisoning. They did not seem concerned at all and the whole exchange made me feel like these kinds of things happen often."
"The food here is nasty. But the staff are insanely incompetent. If your car starts on fire in line… the employees are likely to watch you and hide the extinguisher. Not sure why they were yelling at the guy who saved their business from burning down. Or why they refused to call 911… Typically you praise the guy saving you or your business. Should be offering him free food, not throwing it at him after he saves the place. Odd dynamics occurring here."
