"They have Pliny the Elder on tap! The food is damn good too! I love the service, especially the bartender. She's Johnny on the spot! She's very knowledgeable about their food and beers. I wish I could remember her name. Blonde lady. Hard to believe I lived here for over 4 years and had to been in til the past few months. Now I try and go monthly."
"Big order. 7 pizzas, 4 large salads 6 entrees. Didn't start it till we got there.. guess I wasted 20 minutes on the phone putting in the order. Said it would be ready at 4 which I looked and was in 20 minutes. I questioned it and he assured me it would be ready. Bill was $250. We got out of there 45 minutes later at 4:30. Pizzas were 12 inch and crust was like dried out flat bread and very sparse toppings. Cesar salads were all lettuce and thin dressing, and mediocre at best. Cobb salad small amounts of toppings and comes with thin ranch dressing. I've never seen anti pasta that has so small slices of deli meats and cheeses instead of whole slices and big and small deli olives. But the apple vinegar dressing was good. No sour dough bread of any kind. Everything was very underwhelming. Is there some kinda food shortage here I don't know about here?"
"We asked a previous Grants Pass friend for their recommendation, & they said OPPA, hands down. In our experience their recommendation was not wrong. A really friendly staff, the Bartender was very informative with tap options & tasting samples. But the best, was The Caveman pizza that we ordered. Fast delivery and so tasty, with a complimenting beverage to match as well. Since we arrived for lunch, we were able to easily park across the street, not sure how evening parking might be."
"OPPA is awesome! They have great pizza, chicken legs, salads and more and the staff is super friendly. The rotating beer selection is fantastic as it the overall feel of the place. It's a relaxed setting and a local staple that I highly recommend."
"I was greeted with a smile upon entry. We sat at a high top in the bar, 4 o’clock on a Saturday. Only two other parties in the whole place. The bartender was efficient and skilled at taking our order. The bowl of clam chowder came out first, topped with shredded cheese (weird). The cheese didn’t melt, because the soup was cold. I asked that it be served warm and this time without cheese. She nodded in acknowledgment of the request but returned the same bowl, which had to have been microwaved. I know it was the same because of all the pepper I added and because of the still present cheese. Gross. I can stay home for microwaved food. The pizza (red sauce, mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, garlic and spinach) came out way too fast to feel freshly prepared. It seemed a bit small for 18.99. The cheese was heavy. The crust was not crispy, the sun dried tomatoes were dry. The beer was cold and they use BPA-free to go packaging but I won’t be back."
