About Us
Riffle Cafe is a charming Hawaiian-inspired restaurant located at 450 Merlin Road in Merlin, Oregon. You can order for pick-up or make reservations by calling 541-471-7000. The cafe welcomes all colors, cultures, sexes, beliefs, and religions, and even well-behaved dogs are welcome on the deck. While they are happy to make dietary modifications, please note that they do not have a gluten-free or dairy-free kitchen, so cross-contamination is possible.
Known as Southern Oregon's best weekend brunch spot, Riffle Cafe offers homemade breakfast and lunch made from scratch. Their gourmet burgers with a tropical flare, wild salmon, rib eye steak, omelettes, and salads are all popular choices. The cafe offers inside and outdoor covered seating with a Hawaiian atmosphere.
Owned by Tami and David Skeen, who lived in Maui for over 20 years, Riffle Cafe brings a taste of the Hawaiian islands to the Merlin community. David, a native Hawaiian, even has his personal fishing pole displayed in the main dining room. The cafe is just a short drive north of Grants Pass, making it a convenient stop for locals and visitors alike.

"I walked in and it was freezing. Okay, whatever. The biscuits and gravy were bleh no flavor. The pog juice was so watered down it tasted like water. I just don’t understand why you would cut corners at the expense of the customers. Mimosa was amazing! But not enough to erase the food experience."

"Portions were huge, food was great, this little cafe was a crown jewel on our weekend trip. The staff were so friendly and patient with our huge group, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the screened in front porch made for a sweet little dining experience. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re in a rush or want AC. 11/10 would recommend!!!"
