"I have driven past here almost daily for several years and finally decided to give them a try for lunch the other day. I was not disappointed! I was seated right away and offered tea. Everything came out quickly and was hot. The portion sizes are on par with every other Chinese restaurant I’ve gone to, but the chow mein is the best I’ve had! I am a garlic lover, and I could see the minced garlic in the vegetables. The breading on the sweet and sour pork was perfectly done, though I would have liked more of the sauce (personal preference, my husband would have thought it was just right). Prices are reasonable, and I will definitely be back. I’m disappointed I haven’t tried them sooner!"

"Basically the only place to go for down-home good Chinese here in Salem Oregon. Food is always fresh no old veggies or meat sitting around to serve. Prices are more than reasonable. The family that owns it is always friendly and quick to take your order. Whenever we have need of going out they have anything from soup to food my family always goes here. Back when they would sit people in the restaurant they were always very friendly and never left you without checking in on you several times. Facemasks are required right now and to go ordering is your only option. But if you call ahead they will make sure your food is done at the time they say. It will be hot and fresh not sitting under a hot plate. They are happy to make substitutions and don’t charge a fortune for them. They are allergy friendly and very knowledgeable about their product and will tell you if there’s something in it that you need to avoid. Love this place can’t say enough good things about the staff!"
